A HISTORY OF WINE - Part 1: Wine In Ancient History & Migration
A HISTORY OF WINE - Part 1: Wine In Ancient History & Migration
December 29, 2024 3pm-5pm (Sunday)
Join us as we explore wine from the cradles of civilization, and follow them as they venture out into the world as civilizations form. Wine inevitably was part of the journey. Let’s explore the why, the how, and what happened and where. We start at the beginning. Taste history with us during this seminar.
Co-taught with Stéphane Vattepain, visiting resident Sommelier & Desta Marée Proprietor & Wine Director. Special appearances and invitations as well.
This is wine education, with wine tasting as a part of the exploration, but not the purpose of the seminars. These wines are not readily available on the market, most you will not be able to purchase for yourself, with some even directly imported for these educational purposes.
